About

 The Museum
The Nordic Heritage Museum is located in an old school building in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, a neighborhood containing a community with strong roots in its Nordic heritage. The museum explores these Nordic cultural roots by sharing the history, arts, traditions and lifestyles of the Nordic peoples.

Teen Council
The Nordic Heritage Museum's Teen Council is a group of dedicated high school students who come up with fun and creative ways to make the museum more interesting and relevant for local youth. The council explores culture and heritage through its expression in art, music, fashion, food, ideas, and actions of individuals in the community.
